Corporate Meetings and Events - Analyst

The Corporate Meetings & Events Team is part of JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s larger Firmwide Events structure, responsible for delivering best in class events and programs for a range of clients inside and outside the firm.

The team, in close partnership with colleagues across all lines of business, manages the entire event planning process from conception through event completion.

As an Events Management Analyst, in the Corporate Meetings & Events Team, you will engage with a broad range of business partners within the Firm.

You will work closely with other team members to strategically plan and manage various aspects of events, including data maintenance, registration management, and vendor management.

Job Responsibilities


* Partner with various team members on multiple programs and tasks to deliver event-related projects.


* Support the Meeting Managers with different aspects of event planning and execution including, but not limited to, venue research; data maintenance and integrity; internal and external communications; invitation creation, testing and distribution; manage air manifests and travel, attendee housing and registration; on-site staffing and support; post-event tasks, such as inputting budgets and supporting debriefs.


* Manage attendee management tasks, e.g., manage, review, and reconcile reports (Invitee registration, RSVPs, seating assignments, etc.); managing event supplies and shipping; promotional item research and ordering; and tasks related to production of print materials (name badges, tent cards, and other printed items).


* Collaborate with other planners on event data and analyses, as well as assist in the development and reconciliation of event budgets.


* Manage travel reservation requirements and reporting, working closely with travel agents on changes and deviations, create and manage air manifests and work closely with ground provider.


* Deliver JPMorgan Chase & Co.

event standards at every level.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills


* Minimum 1 year of experience in meeting planning in the financial industry


* Effective verbal and written communication skills


* Team player with excellent multitasking skills and able to thrive on the challenge of competitive pressures while remaining focused on prioritized tasks.


* Highly organized and detail oriented.

Demonstrates creative problem-solving.


* Skillful in Microsoft suite, especially Excel (i.e., basic formulas, pivot tables, V lookups and PowerPoint (i.e., basic formatting), Word


* Must be able to tackle a multitude of tasks, trouble shoot and exemplify a positive attitude and commitment to success.


* Requires occasional late nights, as well as travel.
