Admissions Assistant (Full-Time)

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (DOE)

Position Summary:
Las Colinas Post Acute is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Admissions Assistant to join our team.

This role is essential in supporting the admissions process, ensuring a smooth transition for residents and their families, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with facility policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:


* Assist with the admissions process, including gathering required documentation and obtaining necessary signatures


* Coordinate with hospitals, families, and internal departments to facilitate timely admissions


* Prepare resident admission packets and ensure all required documentation is complete


* Maintain accurate records of resident admissions, discharges, and transfers


* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals


* Support census development by assisting with inquiry follow-up and referrals


* Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all facility policies regarding confidentiality


* Provide administrative support to the Admissions Coordinator and leadership team

Qualifications:


* High school diploma or equivalent required


* Previous admissions, healthcare, or administrative experience preferred


* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


* Excellent communication and customer service skills


* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
