Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading all Operations and Engineering Support Services across TSA's enterprise IT and OT environments, ensuring secure, resilient, and uninterrupted operations across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid platforms.

- This role provides senior operational leadership for 24x7x365 mission-critical environments, managing large, geographically dispersed teams and ensuring continuous service delivery regardless of incidents, workload fluctuations, or staffing changes.

- The Engineering Manager oversees enterprise operations including network services, data centers, cloud services, end-user computing, system monitoring, capacity planning, and technology lifecycle management.

- The position directs incident response, service restoration, change, configuration, release, patch, and disaster recovery activities, ensuring timely execution and compliance with TSA and DHS operational, security, and lifecycle requirements.

- The Engineering Manager provides technical oversight of AWS and Azure cloud environments, enterprise networks, and integrated IT and OT systems, ensuring performance optimization, secure identity and access management, and effective cost and consumption controls.

- The Engineering Manager also provides technical oversight of enterprise networks, data centers, cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, monitoring and alerting platforms, configuration baselines, vulnerability remediation, and system integrations, actively guiding technical decisions, resolving high-risk operational issues, and ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with TSA operational requirements.

- This role is accountable for meeting all Service Level Agreements from Day One of contract performance, including performance monitoring, operational reporting, root cause analysis, and remediation of service issues.
- The Engineering Manager works closely with TSA stakeholders, other contractors, vendors, and external partners to ensure integrated service
delivery, eliminate operational silos, and support mission outcomes.

- The position ensures workforce planning, succession, and knowledge transfer, maintains complete and accurate operational documentation, and supports audit readiness and continuity throughout the contract lifecycle.

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience managing complex IT task orders or projects, including responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and technical delivery.

- Proven ability to work directly with government stakeholders, apply industry-standard project management methodologies and tools, and deliver solutions for projects of similar scope and mission complexity.

- BA/BS required.
