Field Intern

What We're Looking For:

Michael Baker International is seeking to hire Field Interns for our Orlando, FL office.

As a part of our Civil Engineering team, the Interns will primarily assist with field inspection services for our project at the Orlando International Airport.

Work for this project will occur from June through July.

What You'll Do:


* Field review and inspect structural components


* Assist project managers and engineers with various field tasks


* Prepare Inspection summary reports


* Work under supervision of a project manager or task leader


* Assist with data collection, input, verification, and manipulation

What You Need to Succeed:


* Enrolled in pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field


* Candidates should be currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior and taking applicable classes towards their field of study


* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to success in this role


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software

Compensation:

The approximate compensation range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour.

This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.

Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
