Technician - Field EPG

NC Power System carries the complete line of Caterpillar® engine and power systems products covering a vast territory that includes central and western Washington.

We are the Pacific Northwest’s Caterpillar Dealer in delivering prime and standby electric power, marine, oil and gas, and industrial/OEM installations.

About the Position:

NC Power Systems are seeking Power Generation Technician at our, Tukwila WA Branch. This is a key role in our company in which our technicians are responsible for diagnosing and performing all repairs / installations in EPG and Industrial engines including OEM and EPG preps in the shop

Essential Duties:


* Diagnose, Repair and Install Industrial engines (Including OEM and EPG)


* Troubleshoot and inspect power generators to make necessary repairs


* Perform tear downs and cleanings


* Order parts by using Caterpillar parts ordering system (SIS)


* Communicate with Engineering, end-users, customers and other team members


* Meet administrative requirements to complete paperwork (including service reports)

Qualifications & Experience Needed:


* Degree in Diesel Technology is preferred


* 2+ years of generator experience or CAT Industrial engine


* Must possess your own tools


* Must have and maintain a valid drivers license
