Logistics Coordinator
SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage transportation quoting and serve as a key point of contact for customers.
This role blends operational execution with customer communication, ensuring shipments are priced accurately and handled efficiently from start to finish.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Prepare accurate and timely transportation quotes (LTL, FTL as applicable)
* Communicate directly with customers to understand shipping needs and timelines
* Coordinate shipments from pickup through delivery, ensuring on-time performance
* Build and maintain relationships with carriers, brokers, and internal teams
* Negotiate rates and secure capacity with approved transportation partners
* Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, or service issues
* Maintain accurate records in NetSuite
* Provide updates, reports, and shipment visibility to customers
* Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain - preferred but not required
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency with TMS systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
* Strong problem-solving and attention to detail

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
* Office-based
* May require occasional extended hours to meet customer deadlines
