BD-Industry Services

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic business development manager for our Industry Services portfolio.

This role is pivotal in strengthening our market presence, engaging with key customers, and expanding our installed base services.

The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of PLC/Drives, strong consultative selling experience, and a proven ability to build high-impact customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Growth


* Develop and execute medium to long-term sales and business development strategies to protect, grow, and diversify revenue streams across assigned strategic accounts.


* Identify and convert new business opportunities in Industry Services with a focus on maximizing the installed base.

Customer Engagement & Consultative Selling


* Drive both face-to-face and virtual consultative engagements, building trusted advisor relationships with CXO, plant, and operations leaders.


* Create and implement customer retention and expansion plans, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling across the services portfolio.

Market & Business Insights


* Analyze market trends, emerging technologies, competitor landscape, and customer needs to design profitable and scalable service solutions.


* Provide insights to internal teams to refine go-to-market strategies and strengthen customer value propositions.

Leadership & Collaboration


* Work closely with sales, marketing, service delivery, and technical teams to drive high-quality customer outcomes.


* Ensure superior customer experience while managing complex, multi-site service opportunities.



* Strong exposure to PLC/Drives selling with 10-15 years of industry experience.


* Proven success in consultative selling, strategic account management, and delivering growth in Industry Services.


* Demonstrated ability to build, influence, and nurture long-term customer partnerships.


* Solid business acumen with the ability to design and execute comprehensive sales strategies.


* Experience in BD/Marketing/Sales leadership roles is preferred.


* Ability to thrive in a dynamic, customer-centric, and growth-driven environment.

Qualifications


* B.Tech / MBA preferred, but not mandatory for candidates with strong domain and commercial expertise.
