Job Description:

The Regional Security Technology Advisor (RSTA) provides physical security advice to J&J entities in the LATAM region to ensure alignment with the J&J Global Security technology standards and policies. 

Responsabilities:


* Function as the Global Security (GS) regional SME for security technology and physical security solutions.


* Drive the enrollment of the J&J Global Security Technology Standards in the LATAM region.


* Develop (or review) security technology design plans for construction or upgrade projects (new sites, buildings, secured areas) to ensure full compliance with the GS Minimum Security Standards (MSS) and the GS Security Technology Standards.


* Commissioning and validation of implemented technology & physical security solutions as described in the security technology design plan upon completion of a security project.


* Drive innovation by prospecting and recommending new methods, technologies and techniques to improve security solutions and technology.


* Support the creation, periodic updates and further development of security standards.


* Support technology and physical security gap assessments at J&J sites across the region and assist with the development of a gap mitigation plan.

Requirements:


* Professional degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering with specialty in security technology or equivalent through experience.


* Advanced level of English and Spanish is required.

Certifications:


* - CPP – PSP or equivalent is a plus.


* A minimum of 5 years in a security technology and/or physical security specialist role, preferably in a chemical or pharmaceutical industry environment.

Operated in a regional setting.

In-depth understanding of the security technology landscape.


* In-depth understanding of developing conceptual security solutions.

Proven track record in driving security technology innovation.


* Project management skills.
