Compass Health is currently hiring for a Child & Family Counselor to provide direct, supportive, and ongoing coordination of therapeutic services to children with behavioral health needs and their families, as well as some adults.

What You'll Do
As a Counselor, you'll support clients through a wide range of behavioral health services, including:


* Providing case management, treatment planning, and resource coordination


* Delivering individual, family, and group counseling using Evidence-Based Practices whenever possible


* Assisting clients in developing natural supports and accessing community resources


* Assessing for safety risks and collaborating on crisis plans when needed


* Coordinating care with schools, medical providers, courts, and other community partners


* Participating in treatment team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development


* Ensuring all documentation, charting, and billing meets regulatory and agency standards

Qualifications


* Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BSW) in a Behavioral Science-related field required


* Demonstrated knowledge or willingness to learn Evidence-Based Practices


* Must apply for Agency Affiliated Counselor status with WA State DOH upon hire if not already credentialed


* Valid Washington State Driver's License, vehicle, and insurance (if applicable)


* Must pass pre-employment criminal background check
