Temporary Media Production Specialist

The County of Riverside's Human Resources Temporary Assignment Program (TAP) seeks to fill two bilingual Temporary Media Production Specialist positions for the Department of Public Services.

This is a full-time, temporary position located in Moreno Valley, California.

Under general supervision, plans, develops, and produces multimedia programs for educational, public information, and training purposes; performs professional and technical work involved with production activities; and performs other related duties as required.

The Media Production Specialist the journey level classification in the Media Production Specialist series and reports to a supervisory or manager level position.

Incumbents are responsible for the production of video and other audiovisual programs covering a variety of topics and formats.

Assignments require consultation and coordination with staff at various organizational levels on a wide variety of specialized or technical subjects.

Desired experience/education above the minimum requirements: Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, specifically Premiere Pro.

Experience with the following software and equipment is helpful: Canva, Photo Shop, Film and photo experience with Canon equipment, Audio recording and editing.
Must have valid California Driver's License driving is required.

• Conduct subject matter research in order to collect and determine information of most importance to intended audience; develop script materials including scene progression, action sequence, dialogue, narration, and sound effects.

• Prepare estimates of production expenses and maintain accurate records of such expenditures; develop production schedules and arrange for field locations, equipment, and personnel.

• Arrange for the use of other production facilities (e.g., public television studios, cable studios, or private production services) when necessary.

• Perform or supervise production activities (e.g., casting, staging, directing, lighting, and camera work).

• Perform or supervise post-production work such as editing, sound recording, dubbing and mixing, special effects, titles and graphic, narration, and duplication of completed programs.
