Payroll Coordinator

Responsibilities

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for assisting in preparation and processing payroll in a team-oriented environment where job-sharing and cross training are keys to success.

The position includes a wide range of payroll functions, including record keeping, data importing and interfacing, verifying, balancing, filing, processing, distributing, handling employee questions, and other various payroll related duties.

This position is responsible for certain payroll functions in North America.Qualifications

Education and Experience


* High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.


* 1 year experience in human resources, finance or payroll.

Additional Qualifications


* Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact with individuals across all organizational levels.


* Ability to work as part of a team with excellent collaboration skills across other functions.


* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities including good time management skills, organizational skills, attention to detail and taking accountability for tasks and issues.


* Ability to trouble-shoot and problem-solve.


* Strong Excel skills


* Quick thinking, initiative taking, thirst for learning and unafraid to be out of comfort zone.
