Key Responsibilities


* Recruit and engage military veterans, reservists, and military spouses for roles across businesses.


* Translate military resumes and experience into relevant qualifications for civilian hiring teams.


* Develop, maintain, track, and report on selected recruiting metrics such as time to fill, and candidates sourced.


* Participate in recruiting events such as job fairs, college recruitment, seminars, or conferences to attract and establish Hearst as the best place to work.


* Work with recruiters and hiring teams to champion the strengths and experiences of military-connected candidates.


* Deliver internal and external presentations to promote Hearst's military talent initiatives.


* Build and maintain partnerships with third-party military organizations.


* Champion Hearst as a military-ready and veteran-friendly employer.


* Partner with Human Resources and the business to provide strategic insights into military recruitment and retention.


* Serve as an advisor to senior leadership on best practices for hiring, retaining, and advancing military-connected employees
