Key Responsibilities



* Develop and implement business strategies to expand the customer base, grow revenue, and increase gross profit.


* Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities while managing and strengthening key customer relationships.


* Lead tender management, solution design, pricing, contract negotiations, and agreement finalisation.


* Analyse market trends, competitors, and growth opportunities, providing clear reports and presentations.


* Collaborate nationally and internationally, providing leadership in areas of sector strength and supporting opportunity development.


* Ensure smooth project execution by coordinating with operational and administrative teams, including handling complaints and customs/project support.


* Build and maintain partnerships with carriers, hauliers, and service providers to strengthen cooperation and service delivery.


* Execute any other duties assigned by your manager that fall within the general scope of the role.

Key Accountabilities



* Drive business growth by developing strategies, identifying opportunities, and expanding the customer base to increase revenue and profitability.


* Build, manage, and strengthen long-term relationships with key customers, new clients, and business partners.


* Lead tender processes, solution design, pricing, contract negotiations, and agreement finalisation.


* Analyse and report on market trends, competitors, and growth opportunities to inform strategy and decision-making.


* Strengthen alliances with carriers, hauliers, and service providers to improve service delivery and cooperation.


* Represent the business through regular client appointments, networking, and the introduction of new contacts.


* Collaborate nationally and internationally to support business opportunities and provide leadership in sector strengths.

To be successful, you will need:



* 5-10 years of experience in the field of Project & Heavy lift transportation, in a similar role


* Bachelor Degree in Business or Project Management – desired


* Proficiency with CRM Systems


* Strong communication, analytical, and commercial negotiation skills
