Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

RELATIONSHIP & SCOPE

The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will report to the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting and is a pivotal team member of the Global Controllership unit at Chubb responsible for preparation of quarterly SEC filings and consolidated financial reporting.

The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will interact with a diverse group of internal personnel including other financial analysts, divisional leadership, and functional staff to interpret financial data and operational performance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


* Assist in the preparation of all 10-Q/K SEC filings including financial statements, footnotes, disclosures and supporting documentation


* Be accountable for various analytical and reporting responsibilities that include the ability to work within finance and other departments


* Recognize, research, and resolve SEC reporting and general accounting issues


* Analyze technical accounting topics and propose conclusions


* Assist in XBRL reporting for all SEC filings, which includes researching tags and staying up to date with taxonomy updates


* Assist with the implementation of FASB projects and standards
