Position SummaryTerrasmart is seeking an Engineering Testing Technician to join our team and support innovation in solar technology.

In this role, you'll perform hands-on testing of components and systems, maintain lab equipment and testing standards, and assist in product development through all stages of design validation.

You'll work with teams across engineering, supply chain, and product development to build and run test systems, conduct field evaluations, and support forensic analysis of failed components.

What You'll Do:


* Design and execute component and system testing (EVT, DVT, PVT)


* Develop test procedures and document results


* Build test fixtures and lifecycle units using machining and fabrication tools


* Support forensic analysis in both lab and field settings


* Maintain testing lab equipment, tools, and inventory


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges

What You Bring:


* Degree or certification in Engineering Technology (Mechanical, Structural, or Civil)


* 2 years' experience in testing, fabrication, or engineering environments


* Strong hands-on skills in machining, welding, and test equipment use


* Proficiency in MS Office, CAD software (Inventor, Autodesk), and related tools


* OSHA 10 certification (required before start)

* Primarily in-lab with occasional outdoor or field work


* Ability to lift 60 lbs., work in extreme temperatures, and wear required PPE


* Less than 5% travel
