Expected Hours of Work: Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:30AM to 5PM.

 

Reports to: Vice President of Inside Sales & Project Management

Job Summary

The primary objective of this position is to propose the correct equipment for each electrical application as required for the water and wastewater industry.

Day-to-day activity will consist of electrical equipment selections, reviewing plans and specifications, preparing cost estimates, quotes, and take-offs.

These will be achieved by gathering and creating proposals, scopes, drawings/plans, specifications, and related documents.

In addition, you are to be a liaison with customers and create a positive relationship with each customer and respond to their requests/needs in a timely manner.

You will be required to work effectively and accurately, often under pressure, and to set (and change) priorities based upon workload and deadlines.

Desired Skills:


* Internet-based research skills.


* Proficient and well versed with Microsoft Office, PDF Platforms, CAD Software (this is a bonus), and other day to day computer skills.


* Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with customers, engineers, contractors and fellow staff.


* Analyze and understand blueprints, plans and specifications.


* Identify pertinent mechanical equipment, instruments, and processes.


* Electrically & Mechanically inclined, trained and skilled.
