Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager in Yadkinville, NC.

Key Responsibilities


* Manages and oversees the Quality Assurance team, which includes organizing schedules, workloads, and machine assignments based on product changes or specific issues.


* Coordinates and addresses quality-related problems, both internal and external, responds to urgent situations within the respective plant, and remains on call 24/7.


* Engages with technical services regarding any product issues encountered during production.


* Supervises and coordinates all internal testing and systems to guarantee product quality and compliance with customer requirements prior to shipment.


* Maintains communication with fiber producers and manufacturers regarding products in production, including quality concerns, breakdowns, excessive resource demands, unmet expectations, and claims-related recourse.


* Collects necessary information to support claim negotiations. 


* Assists the ISO Coordinator as needed in the implementation of the Quality System.


* Collaborates with other departments, including Planning, R&D, Texturing, and Maintenance, to optimize production methods.


* Takes on the responsibilities of other QA Managers at the Yadkinville site when required.


* Develops and maintains relationships with lab equipment vendors to ensure familiarity with leading technologies.

 Education 



* A bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field, textile engineering, physical science, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering is preferred
