Housekeeping Supervisor

Edgefield Post Acute is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our Housekeeping ? and Laundry ? Departments.

This key role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and guests.

We are seeking someone who takes pride in high standards, strong leadership, and supporting a team in a healthcare setting.

?️ Key Responsibilities:


* ? Oversee daily cleaning and laundry operations in resident rooms, common areas, and clinical spaces


* ? Create and manage staff schedules, assignments, and time-off requests


* ? Conduct regular inspections to ensure sanitation and infection control standards


* ? Manage supply inventory and coordinate orders for cleaning and laundry products


* ? Ensure compliance with OSHA, CMS, and internal policies on infection control and safety


* ? Collaborate with nursing, maintenance, and dietary teams to ensure smooth operations


* ? Train, supervise, and coach staff to maintain high performance and morale

✅ Qualifications:


* ? High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications a plus)


* ? 2+ years of experience in housekeeping/laundry services, 1+ year in a supervisory role (preferably in healthcare or long-term care)


* ? Knowledge of cleaning agents, laundry procedures, and infection control


* ? Strong communication and leadership skills


* ⏱️ Ability to manage time effectively and work flexible shifts (including weekends/holidays)
