Administrative Services Manager III - Probation (Business Intelligence and Operations Services)

The Riverside County Probation Department is seeking an Administrative Services Manager III to fill a vacancy within their Business Intelligence and Operations Services Division in Riverside.

As an Administrative Services Manager III, the incumbent will oversee the Research and Applications Support teams; plan, organize, and direct the operations of the assigned division and functions; provide leadership in the development and implementation of reporting and application support strategies; coordinate with internal departments, County IT, and external partners; assess and justify technology needs and customizations; and perform other related duties as required.

This position requires the incumbent to have a bachelor's degree, previous experience in information technology, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.

Additionally, the department seeks candidates that have experience in a supervisory role, overseeing personnel that support data reporting, application support, and/or technology-related functions; project management experience in information technology; and/or experience overseeing the acquisition of software or hardware for a large department or organization.

A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt Certification is highly desired, along with previous experience working in a government or law enforcement agency.

This class has been deemed eligible for the Performance Recognition Plan as set forth under Article 3, Section 311 of the County Management Resolution.

Program eligibility requires employees to be in a leadership position, manage other employees or programs, and have significant influence on the achievement of organizational objectives.
