Engineer, Project Assistant
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for:
* Define project scope and objectives
* Predict and manage resources to meet project objectives
* Prepare project budgets based on scope and resource requirements
* Track and manage project costs to ensure adherence to budget
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work plan
* Provide consistent project updates to stakeholders, including strategy adjustment and progress
* Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure tasks completion and timely deliverables.
* Apply industry best practices, techniques, and standards during project execution
* Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion
* Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in science and engineering
* 3-5 years of project management and related experience
* Proven ability to solve problems creatively
* Familiarity with project management tools and software and best practices
* Familiarity with Composite structures is a plus
* Interest in learning the technical aspects of wind turbine blade manufacturing
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* Proven ability to deliver projects within scope, budget and timeline.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
* Ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels, vendors, clients, and others.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
