6 years experience in SAP's ABAP, Odata, BTP ABAP, RAP

a position in the IT field that requires expertise in SAP's ABAP programming language, specifically its object-oriented variant (OOABAP ), and the OData protocol , used for building RESTful APIs within the SAP ecosystem; essentially, a developer who can design and implement SAP applications using traditional ABAP, object-oriented programming principles, and leverage OData to expose data as web services

Key points about this job role

Strong understanding of basic ABAP programming concepts like data types, loops, conditions, modules, and transactions.

Proficiency in object-oriented programming concepts within ABAP, including classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism, and encapsulation.

Proficiency in OData specifications, including defining entities, navigation properties, query options, and building OData services using ABAP.

Proficiency in Analysis, Design, Development, UT, Support and troubleshoot debug ,RICEFWS .

Leading experience is must.

Excellent communication and managing Business Stakeholders skills are must.

Potential Responsibilities:

Developing custom SAP applications using ABAP and OOABAP

Creating and consuming OData services to integrate with other systems

Designing and implementing data models using CDS (Core Data Services)

Building user interfaces with technologies like SAPUI5 or Fiori leveraging OData

Work with SAP Functional Experts to develop objects in ABAP

Develop programs for business tasks like inventory management, financial accounting, and customer relationship management

API experience Integrate applications with MDG, AIRBA, other systems

Good to Have:

SAP Certifications in ABAP or HANA.
