Supervising Real Property Agent

The County of Riverside's Department of Facilities Management has an exciting opportunity for a Supervising Real Property Agent to join the Real Estate Division in Riverside.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Facilities Management - Real Estate, the selected candidate will play a vital role in leading and shaping the division's strategic initiatives.

The Supervising Real Property Agent will oversee a team of professional Real Property Agents responsible for commercial real estate leasing, tenant improvement projects, lease negotiations, and property management.

The incumbent will negotiate complex agreements, oversee tenant improvements, lease administration, and administration of property management.

They will also provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations for Real Property Agents.

The department seeks candidates that have comparable government agency experience performing work in leasing and management of government-owned real property and providing oversight of tenant Improvements pertaining to lease agreements.

Extensive experience negotiating, preparing, and managing commercial lease agreements is required.

Competitive candidates will possess:


* Strong knowledge of tenant improvement oversight and lease compliance.


* Experience with lease administration and property management for government or large organizations.


* Proficiency in financial data analysis related to leasing agreements.


* Experience in contract monitoring and compliance


* Experience reviewing Form 11s, staff reports, or other official documents.


* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

This position is currently a full-time companion position with benefits.

It is expected that this position will become a full-time regular position in the near future.

This companion position has been opened to allow proper training time before the current Supervising Real Property Agent vacates the position.
