* High school diploma or GED.


* Position requires a strong learning aptitude as 95% of the knowledge required must be learned on job.


* The position requires an individual to stand, stoop, sit, climb steps and ladders, move equipment; bend, reach, lift at least 50 lbs.

as needed while exercising good eye/hand coordination and depth perception.


* Basic computer skills for entering and retrieving data in a windows-based system.


* Strong reading for understanding and communication skills required.


* Must be willing to work flexible schedules, available for any shift including overtime and weekends as needed in a 24/7 operation.

Must be able to rotate from day to night shift.


* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:


* An associate degree


* Experience in hot working of metals


* operation of hydraulic presses and/or machinery, dies; experience operating heavy equipment such as cranes & forklift


* knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office software.


* Two or more years in a manufacturing environment and industrial safety training.
