Accountant Sr

Cottage Health seeks an Accountant Sr for their Finance department responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements, reconciliation of general ledger accounts and completion of reports required by various third parties and auditors.

Utilizes professional judgement to navigate areas of complexity and ensures financial reports are in accordance with U.S.

GAAP.

Leads initiatives and process improvement within accounting team and mentors staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.

Education:


* Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Business with accounting emphasis


* Preferred: MBA or Masters in Accounting.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:


* Preferred: Certified Public Accountant.

Technical Requirements:


* Minimum: Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Proficiency in Oracle equivalent ERP system.


* Preferred: Advanced Microsoft Excel.

Years of Related Work Experience:


* Minimum: 5 years of work related experience in general accounting, financial reporting or auditing with a complex organization or may substitute 4 years audit experience with a national CPA firm.
