As Fulfilment Manager, you will (be)
- Responsible for leading, coaching, developing, and inspiring a high performing fulfilment team within the unit by working closely with the unit Commercial team and/or Unit Management team, including communication, flexibility, performance culture, competence development, succession planning, maintaining a work environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion and well-being
- Securing a high customer and co-worker satisfaction at lowest possible cost in an omnichannel scope for good availability, sustainability, and customer order fulfilment, by actively working with market insights, customer and coworker feedback and internal audits results
- Accountable for securing excellence in fulfilment operations with focus on retail foundation, services execution, quality, and productivity improvements as well as cost optimization, in line with Country Customer Fulfilment Business Plan and Commercial Direction
- Accountable to create a safe and secure working environment and securing compliance to the relevant Standard Operating Procedures through implementation of new operational processes, technologies, and ways of working
- Accountable for driving the Customer Fulfilment part of the unit commercial and growth agenda
- Responsible for driving cultural change towards Lean thinking in the fulfilment unit.
Support lean methodologies within Fulfillment and overseeing the Lean improvements and initiatives for the entire Fulfillment operations
WHO YOU ARE
Being Logistics Manager (we call this internally Fulfilment Manager) you will take direct responsibility for a customer-centric and high performing operations within the Fulfilment unit (store) by leading, steering, planning, supporting, and following up the operations, the development of the organization as well as cost optimization opportunities.
You will be accountable for a strong collaboration and co-creation with counterparts (commercial team and support functions), on both market and country level.
To be successful in your role, we expect that you have:
- Experience of working as a management team member (preferable in distribution, retail, logistics or similar) with proven ability to make a difference by positively influencing the business directly as well as through good collaboration
- Proven ability to inspire and engage others as well as record of strategic leadership in a changing environment
- Proven record of communicating confidently and clearly and experience of working through others, set priorities, delegate responsibility, and give open and honest feedback
- Passion about logistics and have the ability use your know-how to optimize processes with high quality understanding the financial impact and customer experience
- Good business understanding and knowledge: understanding of key performance measurement used to plan, follow up and steer the business with a customer-centric approach

- Good knowledge of the financial, growth plan and respective connected year cycle
- Good knowledge of the business plan process to support the creation of the unit business plan for the market it belongs
- Ability to create and translate a business plan into a tactical plan and operational performance and to think commercially by balancing efficiency, inspiration and profitability
- Very good knowledge of market intelligence: the logistic industry and relevant trends as well being aware of customer behaviours/insights and the home furnishing market
- Passion for the IKEA range
- Knowledge of problem-solving and process improvement methodologies
