* Helping our customers overcome barriers and help them lead a fulfilling and meaningful life and reach their true potential.


* Recognising their strengths and abilities and help them take the small steps at their pace, never losing sight of their dreams and aspirations!


* Supporting our customers using Positive Behavioural Support model to promote independence and social inclusion through person centred support.


* Monitoring our customers’ mental and physical health to identify any signs of deterioration and take positive risk management to their health and wellbeing. 


* With flexibility in the hours and days that you want to work.

The man you will be helping has a fun, bubbly and energetic personality.

His interests include music, and musical instruments, board games and gardening; so, if you love to sing, play an instrument or a touch of gardening well you’re just perfect for our role! 

There is lots for you to do and get involved in, from supporting our customer to achieve their hopes and aspirations, working to bespoke care plans.

You’ll help coordinate activities and experiences meaningful to them and for them, so that they can participate in their favourite things as well as trying out new things that have been identified as aspirations for the future.  Some of our customers also have more complex needs which may include support with personal care.

You bring


* Experience in a Complex Care setting, with a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care or are prepared to work towards it.


* Flexibility to work at short notice, as you’ll be the one picking your next shift.


* You’re a real people person, confident to work in different services or locations or teams and get on with colleagues.


* Worked as a Support Worker, supporting people with complex needs, or behaviours of distress.


* A patient and calm approach, able to adapt your style to X's needs, as well as to the specific occasion and circumstances, even when they challenge us.


* Experience of positive risk management, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of customers and colleagues.
