Human Resources Business Partner

INVISTA is currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support our R&D, Project Management, and Operational Excellence teams.

This position will be based out of Houston, TX (Katy, TX or Woodlands, TX) with a strong preference for the selected individual to be based out of our site in Katy, TX.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our talent position and driving organizational effectiveness.

Reporting directly to a HR Manager, you will collaborate closely with supervisors and employees to optimize performance, support HR related administrative activities, foster leadership capabilities, and cultivate a positive work environment.

What You Will Do


* Advance our company culture Principle Based Management and coach supervisors and employees on their application


* Build credibility and trust with the workforce and leaders


* Ensure employees connect with how they create value for the company; identify talent gaps that are obstacles and coach supervisors on the development of talent plans


* Build supervisor capability and reinforce transparency and accountability in the areas of talent, leadership, and culture


* Utilize Principle Based Management® and Human Organizational Performance concepts to resolve various employee relations issues in partnership with the HR Manager and Business Leaders


* Partner with various capabilities teams to improve our talent position - selection, attraction, and retention


* Understand key drivers of business performance and support delivering results


* Thrive in a fast paced and changing environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously


* Drive innovation and transformation in HR functions and processes


* Work with HR Information Systems

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Three (3) or more years' experience working within an HR role


* Experience applying knowledge of HR fundamentals (selection, performance management, talent planning, change management, etc)

What Will Put You Ahead


* Experience in supporting teams that sit in multiple office locations


* Experience working as an HR Business Partner/Generalist supporting a shift organization


* Bachelors' degree or higher in a Human Resources Management, or related field
