Process Engineer

Your Job

Reporting to the Process Manager you will join the existing Process Engineering Team to provide technical support to the Float Glass Production Line in Corsicana, TX.

You will be responsible for creating value through process improvement with a clear focus on safety, quality and production.

Our Team

The Float End team consists of 7 team members that support the operations on the Float Glass production line.

What You Will Do



* Utilize SPC, statistical methods and data analysis to improve production processes


* Develop and maintain live process monitoring capabilities along with operational reaction plans


* Establish operating parameters processes, conduct optimization experiments and establish best practices and procedures for good glass production


* Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to address equipment issues and perform root cause analysis


* Troubleshoot problems that occur during the manufacturing process


* Identify & drive strategic initiatives to reduce operating costs and improve efficiency


* Lead complex projects in a team-based environment


* Provide technical support to 24/7 operations

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



* Experience using statistical methods and analysis techniques to solve problems


* Process or Manufacturing Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment


* Experience using Microsoft Office tools

What Will Put You Ahead



* Experience with float glass manufacturing processes


* Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Ceramic Engineering
