Production Supervisor

Position Overview:
The Production Supervisor oversees and coordinates the activities of workers involved in fabricating, assembling, and processing products.

Responsible for supervising shift workers, ensuring quality and safety, managing production and inventory, and improving operational efficiency.

Works closely with other supervisors and management to meet production goals and maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:


* Ensure a safe, controlled, and hazard-free work environment


* Maintain quality standards and complete necessary documentation


* Train, supervise, and evaluate production staff


* Oversee shift workflow, prioritize tasks, and enforce standard operating procedures


* Implement 5S housekeeping practices


* Track production data, including equipment issues and safety incidents


* Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions as needed


* Assist with inventory staging, shipping, and forklift training


* Support hiring and onboarding of new employees

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage a team of production workers, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and addressing personnel issues.

Qualifications:


* High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent)


* 5 years manufacturing experience; 3 years in a leadership role


* Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite


* Forklift and OSHA certifications preferred

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to regularly walk, stand, bend, and easily climb off of a forklift for 8 to 10 hours.

Must be able to occasionally sit for classroom training as required.

Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds.

Must have 20/20 vision or corrected 20/20 vision, must have depth perception, and must be able to hear.

Must be able to tolerate heat and cold.

Work Environment:
Warehouse setting, no travel required.
