Senior Advisor, Government Regulatory| Senior Regulatory Strategy Analyst

This role is critical in building and maintaining strong relationships with insurance regulators, understanding their regulatory goals, and providing education and technology support to enhance regulatory processes.

The ideal candidate will combine expertise in strategy with hands-on execution, fostering partnerships with key stakeholders to address industry challenges and deliver impactful insights & solutions.

About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role

• Engage with insurance regulators to understand and support their regulatory goals.

• Build and maintain relationships with regulators through regular interactions, including travel to conferences and Departments of Insurance (DOIs).

• Provide education and training on industry best practices, tools, and technology solutions to facilitate efficient regulatory processes.

• Identify emerging issues and trends in the regulatory landscape.

• Lead the development and execution of strategic regulatory initiatives, working cross-functionally to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent and effective communication with regulators.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• Proven experience in strategy work, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to drive projects from concept through to execution.

• Ability to travel frequently to attend conferences and on-site visits to regulatory bodies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working directly with Departments of Insurance.

• Proven track record of leading regulatory or compliance initiatives.

• Proven experience in driving innovation initiatives, particularly those that involve cross-functional collaboration and technological integration.

• Background in implementing technology solutions for regulatory or compliance processes.

• Experience supporting effective change management strategies.

• Familiarity with data analytics tools, automation technologies, and digital platforms.
