Compliance Manager (United States and Canada)
Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Manager (United States and Canada) to join a growing Ethics & Compliance team in the Americas.
The Compliance Manager for United States & Canada will contribute by:
* Interpreting laws and government regulations affecting the operation of the organization.
* Implementing policies and procedures to ensure organizational compliance with regulations and regulatory reporting requirements.
* Providing training on matters relevant to ethics and compliance risks.
* Investigating and resolving compliance problems and responding to questions from internal sources and regulatory agencies.
* Partnering with business units and support functions to assess and enhance 1st line of defense controls.
* Working cross functionally to ensure compliance requirements are implemented timely.
* Creating and executing project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
* Managing day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
* Managing, resolving, and escalating, as appropriate, issues to the Compliance Officer Americas.
* Identifying application of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to complex problems.
* Interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices.
* Solving complex problems; taking a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
* Working independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* Minimum of 10 years' related experience in compliance, risk management, or internal/external audit preferred.
* Fluent in English, French is a plus.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Experience managing complex projects.
* Business-focused, collaborative and process oriented.
* Excellent writing skills and strong ability to communicate verbally with individuals who may be unfamiliar with complex issues.
