Leader Warehouse (Night Shift)

CooperVision (CVI) is recruiting a Warehouse Leader (Night Shift).  As a member of CVI’s Suply Chain Organization, the Warehouse Leader will oversee logistics operations for the assigned shift and inspire the team to deliver outstanding results.  The position is based in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, and works onsite. 

Essential Functions & Accountabilities: 

Operational Excellence:


* Ensure proper inventory control and accuracy, from labeling raw materials to organizing finished goods in the warehouse.


* Manage and execute the disposition of non-conformance materials.


* Oversee the receiving, segregation, and distribution of incoming raw materials and finished goods.


* Coordinate shipments with carriers, including documentation, record-keeping, and complaint resolution.


* Monitor import/export records for compliance and maintain meticulous filing systems for packaging lists and dispatch notes.

Team Leadership & Development:


* Provide direction, mentorship, and growth opportunities for your team.


* Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.


* Manage schedules, vacations, and overtime for non-exempt personnel.

Strategic Impact:


* Collaborate on creative logistics strategies to optimize warehouse capacity and improve material flow.


* Define and refine shipping procedures, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and company values.


* Prepare shipping and inventory reports to keep operations aligned with business goals.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:


* Ensure compliance with Free Trade Zone (FTZ) regulations, import/export laws, and internal quality management systems.


* Actively support the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):


* Ability to lead teams, mentor direct reports and consistently deliver results. 


* Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)


* Demonstrated ability to coach less experienced staff and operators. 


* Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills in Spanish and English


* Excellent interpersonal, relationship management and influencing skills at all levels.

 Must be able to give clear direction, communicate expectations, and provide feedback.


* Adaptable and flexible, with openness to change.
