Overview

Responsibilities


* Design complex full-stack cloud technology solutions in collaboration with application development teams, aligned with the vision established by technology and product leaders.


* Take ownership of existing technology solutions, designing and recommending improvements to increase efficiency, resiliency, and reduce manual effort


* Develop and lead the peer review process for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

IaC tools include Terraform, PowerShell, bash and Python.


* Lead the implementation of additional tools and processes that maintain an automation-first approach to infrastructure and middleware management.


* Collaborate with teams to understand their current infrastructure state and assist them in achieving the next step forward.


* Help create roadmaps to sunset, replace, and decommission legacy implementations as new capabilities are introduced.


* Act as a subject matter expert for infrastructure operations in cloud; act as an escalation point for application development teams.

Qualifications


* A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, or equivalent experience; technical certification preferred


* 1+ years of relevant experience, encompassing:



* Utilizing system monitoring and automated self-healing.


* In-depth knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, Python, shell scripting, and other automation tools.


* Full stack application development experience, including CI/CD pipeline development, automated builds, testing, and Infrastructure as Code


* Developing and maintaining infrastructure solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Lambda, and serverless deployments


* Applying Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices in planning and organizing work


* Monitoring platform/application using tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, CloudWatch is preferred.



* Occasional travel may be required


* US Citizenship requirement for role
