Software Engineering Senior Advisor
Software Engineering Senior Advisor will have a deep understanding of AWS technologies and a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying complex serverless solutions.
This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Solution Architecture: Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure serverless solutions leveraging AWS technologies such as AWS Step Functions, Lambda, Elasticache Redis, DynamoDB, S3, and Secrets Manager.
* Development: Develop high-quality code using Node.js, Java, or Go to implement the designed solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
* Deployment: Deploy and manage applications on AWS, utilizing infrastructure as code principles and CI/CD pipelines.
* Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
* Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely solutions.
* Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and operations teams, to deliver high-quality solutions.
* Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
* Technical Leadership: Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes, providing expert guidance and recommendations.
* Presentation Skills: Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership teams.
Required Skills and Experience:
* AWS Expertise: Deep understanding of AWS services, including AWS Step Functions, Lambda, Elasticache Redis, DynamoDB, S3, Secrets Manager, and other relevant technologies.
* Programming Proficiency: Strong programming skills in Node.js, Java, or Go.
* Serverless Architecture: Proven experience in designing and implementing serverless architectures.
* Cloud-Native Development: Experience with cloud-native development principles and methodologies.
* Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
* Certifications: AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer).
* Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
* Security: Understanding of security best practices and experience in implementing secure solutions.
* DevOps: Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
