Brand PR Specialist

Your day to day

In this exciting new role you will be supporting IHG Hotels & Resorts in becoming a beloved household name through by enabling public relations team efforts in producing always-on, opportunistic earned media activity that generates influential, high-quality news coverage and buzz across key regions globally, with the goal of keeping IHG and our hotel brands part of the ongoing cultural conversation.

Key Accountabilities: 


* Oversee daily department resources such as file management, vendor coordination, media lists, press clippings, and coverage reports across markets.


* Manage IHG’s Media/News Bureau hotline, handling inbound media enquiries and coordinating influencer stay requests with property leadership.


* Track and analyse media coverage in the reporting database, support Onclusive reporting, data pulling, and collaborate cross-functionally to share News Bureau strategies.


* Assist with media relations efforts, including drafting and reviewing pitches, developing PR plans, managing vendor relationships, budgets, and processing invoices.

What we need from you


* 1-2 years of experience at an agency and/or in-house public relations function focused on consumer lifestyle brands and media.


* Ability to multitask, prioritise and problem solve in a fast-paced environment. 


* Excellent organisation skills and attention-to-detail


* Eagerness to learn and ability to operate in a highly complex organisation. 


* Strong oral and written communication in English. 


* Familiar with trends in the PR, media, and influencer landscape
