Software Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Drive direct business impact by working closely with multiple functional teams from Operations and Finance to build actionable data analysis and reporting in various business intelligence tools.

Collaborate with a wide range of business users at various levels of seniority to translate problem statements into data-driven applications and data visualization solutions.

Organize data in easy-to-understand formats, including data stores, dashboards and reports.

Develop and deploy models and APIs to effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.

Develop effective real-time monitor processes to govern data quality and collaborate with database developers to improve systems.

Design and develop orchestration APIs to retrieve domain data.

Establish resilient, scalable data streams with performance consistency.

Collaborate with internal and external partners for regulatory audits and investigations with reporting and analysis as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineering, Service Delivery Manager, IT Consultant or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Unix; Windows; Agile SDLC; Waterfall SDLC; Hybrid SDLC; Data Architecture Disciplines; J2EE; C++; HTML; Java; Python; Shell Scripting; SQL; XML; Apache Tomcat; REST; SOAP; Maven; Oracle; Infomatica; Qlikview; Splunk; GIT; Junit; Functional Testing; Manual Testing; Unit Testing; and User Acceptance Testing.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time.

Salary: $173,100 - $215,000 per year.
