Group Leader 1

The warehouse lead will help assist with daily warehouse operations to ensure an efficient workflow.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory and stock control, preparing and processing shipping documents, and collaborating with the team to complete daily orders on time.

Additionally, the role requires training warehouse team members, tracking KPI's, and maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse
Key Duties & Responsibilities



* Work with the manager and supervisor to create and implement processes and procedures to increase productivity.


* Help maintain inventory and stock control, ensuring that physical inventory matches the systematic records.


* Work with the team to ensure all daily orders are completed in a timely manner while adhering to customer compliance.


* Prepare LTL orders for delivery.


* Assist the team in preparing and processing required shipping documents, such as Bill of Lading (BOL) and Advance Ship Notice (ASN).


* Maintain cleanliness, keeping the warehouse and storage areas clean and organized.


* Collaborate with the supervisor to coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities and track KPI goals.


* Train warehouse team members.


* Pick and pack orders.


* Assist with receiving functions


* Other duties assigned

* Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers.


* Ability to train and lead warehouse team members.


* Proficiency in preparing and processing shipping documents.


* Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory and shipping records.


* Communicate effectively with the warehouse manager and supervisor

Education / Experience / Training Required



* Experience in warehouse operations and logistics.


* Familiarity with inventory management systems.


* Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role in a warehouse setting.


* Experience in handling shipping and receiving functions.
