Description of the Position

As a Maintenance Technician you'll be the 'first responder' to all process and equipment related issues on the production floor.

This includes to build, repair and maintain automated test equipment and applications, keep all processes and equipment in good working condition, ensure maintenance and calibration of equipment is up to date and escalate issues to higher levels if needed.

* React to equipment and process issues as soon as they occur


* Troubleshoot/repair, maintain and build test-equipment, tools and machines


* Improve the performance of equipment and automation processes


* Establish and execute maintenance routines and equipment calibrations


* Monitor performance of equipment and improve its uptime

This job might be for you if you:


* You are aware of safety/electrical safety procedures (LOTO, electrical safety codes etc)


* You are interested in working in a test/automation and production environment


* You have an education and/or experience in troubleshooting automated test equipment


* You are organized and hands-on in structured de-bugging


* You have knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance


* You are curious about new technologies and looking to solve real-world problems in a manufacturing environment

The compensation range for this full-time position, which includes base pay and short-term incentive, is CAD $48,000-$70,000 for candidates who are B.C.

residents.

Our salary ranges are determined by including roles of similar responsibility and level.
