Sr Specialist - Facilities (Hattiesburg, MS)

Description & Requirements

The Sr Specialist Facilities role involves managing vendor compliance and services, coordinating facility operations, and overseeing safety and physical security programs.

This position is based in Hattiesburg, MS

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Oversee all facility- related functions of the project.

- Serves as liaison to project's Day Porter.

- Work with the building landlord to ensure that the project's facility needs are met.

- Work with Project Contracts Manager to ensure that all building and materials licensing and permits are in compliance with various state or local authorities.

- Conduct daily facility review to ensure compliance with project safety and quality standards to ensure a productive and safe work environment.

- Perform ergonomic evaluations and adjustments for Project's personnel.

- Coordinate with Human Resource Department to reduce risk of workplace related injuries.

- Workplace general maintenance including evaluation and corrections.

- Oversee security and logistics associated with the project offices, warehouse, and disaster recovery facility.

- Identify and implement cost savings and resource conservation initiatives.

- Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.

Additional duties:



* Perform maintenance duties such as furniture moves, simple electrical projects, spot painting, and light construction.


* Work with contractors on building and equipment repairs.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional minimum requirements:



* Able to move boxes/materials not to exceed 50lbs.


* Available and willing to work on Hattiesburg, MS, and support Bogalusa, LA, as well as other sites as needed.
