Painter & Decorator

At InterContinental London Park Lane, we are currently looking for a Painter & Decorator to join our team with an immediate start date

Reporting to the Director of Engineering you will be working alongside a team of skilled Maintenance Assistants. 

Your role will involve:


* Preparing surfaces, filling holes, and sealing cracks


* Removing old paint and paper by sanding or scraping


* Inspecting painted surfaces and rectifying flaws or defects 


* Replacing or repairing plaster board


* Evaluating jobs and ensuring the correct quantity and quality of materials is ordered.


* Maintaining stock levels for current and future jobs


* Tidying and cleaning tools

To succeed as a Painter & Decorator, you will need:


* To be passionate about delivering great service and have a great understanding of Health and Safety. 


* To be a qualified Painter & Decorator, with experienced gained within Hotel Environment of a similar size, standard and complexity.


* To be willing to learn new things and work as part of a wide hotel team.

* £15.86 per hour (£32,988.80 annual Salary) plus service charge and paid overtime and great IHG perks!
