Position: C++ Developer
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Salary Range: $127,900 - $137,900 per year
Clearance: Active L Clearance Required

The Next Generation Systems and Solutions department partners with several SIPP and internal mission organizations to design, develop and deploy large-scale remote sensing systems for real-time national security missions.

Responsibilities:

Participate in the design of software tools and subsystems to support reuse and domain analysis.

Assist Applications Engineer and Applications Programmer to interpret software requirements and design specifications to code and integrate and test software components.

Qualifications:


* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science plus 8 years of experience


* DOE L Clearance required, ability to obtain DOE Q Clearance


* Must be US Citizen

Required Skills 


* 4-6 years development experience in C++ (v11, v14, v17+) in an object-oriented environment


* 2-3 years of experience developing software on a Linux-based platform


* Experience with large data systems processing development

Desired Skills 


* 7+ years development experience in C++ (v11, v14, v17+) in an object-oriented environment


* 4+ years of development experience in Python


* 4+ years of experience developing software on a Linux-based platform


* 3+ years of Git, Gitlab, or CI/CD tool experience


* Experience with large DoD or DOE satellite or ground station data process systems development (500k+ lines of code)


* Experience modernizing legacy production software systems


* Applied Agile software development methodology experience
