IT Desktop Support

Do you want to be provide both hardware and software support to employees?  How about work for an independent company in the Rocky Mountains where you can really make a difference?  How about exposure to multiple facets of IT?

As an IT Desktop Support/Help Desk you’ll be a customer service champion by supporting end users on a variety of issues by responding to telephone calls, service requests, email, and personnel requests for technical support.

Working with a cross-functional team, support will include computer setup, installation, troubleshooting, and administration, and surveillance camera systems.

It also requires providing support for the product unloading/loading racks.

You’ll join a high performing team where you’ll be able to develop your skills. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


* Provide prompt and courteous customer service. 


* Install and support software technologies for end users 


* Provide Help Desk phone support for customers/drivers 


* Support users with Microsoft Excel and other Office products 


* Set up and replace computer hardware 


* Train end users to work with modern technologies 


* Record all requests and resolutions using an issue tracking system 


* Resolve technical issues with computer equipment, phone systems, printers, copiers, networks, security cameras, and emails 


* Support day-to-day operations of a 24/7 production environment 


* Ability to perform off hours support calls   

Qualifications 


* Associate’s degree in information systems or computer science or related experience 


* 2 or more years’ experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on both desktop and laptop devices 


* 2 or more years’ experience troubleshooting basic network, software and printing issues 

 

Additional Experience Areas 


* Customer service experience 


* Experience with system administration 


* Experience with VoIP phone system support 


* Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting skills 


* Experience with patch management 


* Knowledge of Windows operating systems  


* Experience with TopTech, Ivanti, Endpoint Management, and Endpoint Protection technologies a plus
