As a Senior Employee Relations Representative, you will conduct internal investigations of employee relations issues and makes recommendations to Bank management to resolve issues.

Coach management on sensitive employee issues/situations.

The level of work performed is considered advanced and staff must be able to work under minimal supervision.

This position does not have direct reports.

Your Responsibilities:


* Counsels and advises employees and management on work-related issues such as policies, attendance, performance, conduct, complaints, employment law, etc.


* Serves as a primary resource for employee complaints.


* Conducts investigations related to complaints of discrimination, intimidation and harassment.


* Creates documentation that may be relied upon for litigation purposes.


* Reviews and is authorized to approve counseling and termination of employment cases.


* Develops and communicates HR policies and guidelines.


* Conducts interviews with employees.


* Collaborates within department by providing guidance on employment law and policy issues.


* Develops and conducts Employee Relations training as needed.


* Oversees the Harassment Prevention awareness program.


* Supports medium to large size projects on behalf of the department or participates in larger Department and/or District strategic projects.

Your Background:


* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience


* 5-7 years of related professional work experience



* Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in employment law to complete difficult assignments.


* Demonstrates independent decision-making abilities.


* Able to understand and respond appropriately to ambiguous situations.


* Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Additional Requirements: 


* This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of two days per week in office.
