Summary:

As a Pump and Fan Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of both pumps and fans used in various industrial, commercial, and residential settings.

Your expertise will ensure the efficient operation of pumps and fans, contributing to the smooth functioning of systems they are a part of.

Key Responsibilities:


* Installation: Properly install new pumps and fans according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

This may involve setting up piping, fittings, electrical connections, and other components to ensure optimal performance and safety.


* Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on pumps and fans to prevent breakdowns and prolong their lifespan.

This includes inspecting components, lubricating moving parts, cleaning, replacing worn-out parts, and testing for functionality.


* Repair: Diagnose and repair malfunctioning pumps and fans promptly to minimize downtime.

This involves troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues, and executing repairs effectively to restore functionality.


* Calibration: Calibrate pumps and fans to ensure accurate performance as per required specifications.

This may involve adjusting settings, replacing sensors, and verifying performance against established standards.


* Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while working with pumps, fans, and related equipment.

Maintain a safe work environment by following established guidelines and using personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.


* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts replaced, and other relevant information for both pumps and fans.
