Job Description:

The Logistics Coordinator at the OCONUS facility will oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations for a secure Government program.

The candidate will coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of Information Technology (IT) parts from multiple IT vendors and assure that the C-O-C requirements are fulfilled with each order and shipment.
The candidate must be proficient with communication and negotiation skills.

They are also well-versed in supply management principles and practices.

The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, possess great record-keeping abilities, and a focused customer-oriented approach.
The goal for the position is to ensure smooth operations for a variety of secure Government logistical channels.
Responsibilities
• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
• Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively
• Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
• Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g.

deliveries, truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements
• Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
• Communicate with suppliers and customers to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
