Position: SOC Analyst I
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Salary Range: $21.00 -$26.83 per hour
Clearance: Ability to obtain a DOE Q or L Clearance.

 US Citizenship is required for clearance (i.e., no dual citizenships).

KeyLogic is seeking a candidate to join the System Operations Center supporting a major Department of Energy Laboratory in Albuquerque, NM.   The primary mission of the department, Enterprise Service Management and Monitoring is to develop and maintain a big picture, end-to-end view of operational IT services.  

Responsibilities:

Daily Duties:

Candidate will require to be flexible to work one of the three 24 x 7 shifts: day shift, swing shift, mid-shift, holidays and weekends.

Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.  Maintaining effective and efficient adherence to the Event Management Process.  Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.  Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access.  Enhance existing process and procedures, observe and control the status and performance of system components, servers, and network facilities.  Answer incoming problem calls from customer and internal sites and resolves associated tickets.  Write incidents reports and document events.

Follow procedures, provide updates, ask questions, take action, follow up on missing, incomplete or unresolved issues. 

Qualifications:

Required:

Education: A high school diploma is required

Required Skills: 2+ years of related experience in related tasks and field

Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" Clearance

Strong customer service skills

Active DOE "Q clearance
