Director, Supply Planning

Your Job

In the role of Director of Supply Planning, you will have key responsibilities critical to the organization's success.

You will be responsible for overseeing the supply planning function, creating end to end supply chain that delivers the most competitive products in the market while minimizing risk.

Exercising leadership, overseeing the supply planning function, you will lead a team of supply associates (Network supply, strategic planning, Inventory planning, S&OP/E) responsible for optimizing mid to long term supply plan, risk mitigation plan for constraints, establish capacity risk management, drive GSO&P IT system adoption, setting planning segmentation, inventory health and placement, lead-time policies and bridge the gap between planning and execution.

You will lead and influence change across the organization, adopting and internalizing PBM (principled based management) culture, pursue continuous improvement and KPI enhancements.

Create strategies to influence and drive key objectives in support of organization goal and objective.

Attract, develop & retain top talent, and create organizational structure that drives impactful positive results across the value chain.

What You Will Do



* Champion supply planning best practices and support continuous improvement in the supply planning and collaboration processes.


* Build relationships with key internal stakeholders (fulfillment, sourcing, operations) and external partners (Logistic, hubs, vendors) through formalized collaboration and partnership.


* Drive the monthly executive supply planning process to highlight where supply is constrained and provide scenarios and recommendations on how to address issues.


* Measure and report on key performance metrics and benchmarks related to supply planning and the overall supply chain, such as schedule adherence, operational reliability, impact on capacity planning assumptions and mitigation plans.


* Enhance S&OP digital tool (Kinaxis - Rapid Response) performance by improving user adoption.


* Identify system enhancements to improve capacity planning and act as a key contributor to acceptance testing and the roll-out of modifications.


* Translate midterm to long-term Supply Strategy into a high-level rough-cut capacity plan (RCCP) for the supply network.



* Identify and resolve capacity shortfalls, either through downstream demand collaboration or upstream supplier schedule changes.


* Create analyses to demonstrate over/under capacity utilization, always contextualizing the variables in product, volume and create potential risk/reward scenarios for the business.


* Work with corresponding demand and fulfillment planners on identified supply scenarios to gain alignment and adjust plans accordingly.


* Support supply chain optimization opportunities such as speed models, postponement, advancement, expediting, consolidation, segmentation, and supplier reduction.
