Job Designation:

The Software Engineer provides extensive expertise in the development of a range of software, per product requirements and specifications.

Performs code design, software development, testing and integration.

Job Core Responsibilities


* Design, development, integration, and maintenance of real time software applications.


* Work as part of a team to provide robust, cutting-edge, high-quality training software.

 Job Specifications:


* 3+ years professional experience as a software developer



* Skilled at C++ development in a Windows environment


* Experience with source control tools (preferably Bitbucket or git)


* Software design experience


* Software integration and test experience


* Strong problem-solving skills


* Able to both understand and clearly communicate complex technical concepts


* US person (as defined below)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field

Desirable attributes for this position:


* Experience working with simulations and/or game engines (especially Unreal)



* Experience with creating and documenting software interfaces


* Experience with real time systems and performance optimization


* Knowledge of 3D math, graphics and/or physics


* Experience with firearms handling and marksmanship



* Experience with Agile development process


* Experience with Atlassian software tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
