Job Summary: 

The Contracts Administrator is responsible for preparing, examining, analyzing, and revising contracts that involve the purchase or sale of goods or services such as equipment, materials, supplies, or products.

Supervisory Responsibilities:


* None

Duties/Responsibilities:


* Oversee the preparation and revision of contracts that involve the purchase or sale of goods and services.


* Oversee proposal planning and administration of contracts.


* Prepare contract briefs and revisions summarizing contractual requirements and budgets.


* Track authorizations and correspondence.


* Prepare contract change notices, monitor contractor performance, including the reporting and status of contractor and owner deliverables.


* Maintain an audit file for each contract to include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, and payment schedules.


* Ensure the contractor is in compliance with legal requirements, owner specifications and government regulations.


* Oversee the preparation and revision of contracts for resellers and sales agents.


* Provide contracting support to foreign subsidiaries on an “as needed" basis.

Required Skills/Abilities:


* Excellent written and verbal communication skills


* Strong sense of time organization and urgency


* Able to work independently and within a team


* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


* Able to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment

Education and Experience:


* Five (5) plus years of Contract Administration experience


* Technical degree or equivalent work experience

Physical Requirements:


* Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer


* Able to lift up to 15 pounds
