Role Summary
Responsible for automating the performance, reliability, and compliance of Schneider Electric's energy management solutions.
The role involves hands-on testing of software and hardware components, working with embedded systems, connected devices, and wireless/industrial protocols, using advanced test benches, automation frameworks, and lab equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop end-to-end automated test cases using keyword-driven automation frameworks (Python with Robot Framework).
* Understand and enhance existing automation frameworks, identifying areas for optimization, efficiency, and scalability.
* Enhance existing automation frameworks and integrate with CI/CD (Jenkins).
* Perform functional, hardware, regression, performance, and compliance testing.
* Validate embedded systems, LV/MV devices, and energy monitoring products.
* Work with industrial and wireless communication protocols such as Modbus, TCP/IP, Zigbee, and basic serial communication (mandatory).
* Perform validation on:
* Embedded systems
* Power monitoring, LV/MV devices
* Energy and industrial automation platforms
* Analyze results, perform root cause analysis, and log defects in Jira.
* Collaborate in Agile/SCRUM teams as a strong individual contributor.
* Ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE/ISO standards.
Education
